Some people know how to pull pranks and some clearly don't. Here are some tips from me to all you future pranksters, because apparently you're a bunch of idiots who will screw up if you don't do it right.
1. Don't do something that has a high likelihood of backfiring horrifically (pretending like you cheated on your significant other, setting something on fire, etc.)
2. If you have to film it to post on Youtube, try to hide the camera, or the prank victim will almost certainly suspect something is up.
3. Find a sensible stopping point and stop the prank before it spirals out of control (e.g. before your brother lights your presents and the Xmas tree on fire...yeah, I'm looking at you, wafflepwn).
4. Don't do anything that will cause permanent damage to something or someone.
5. Don't pull a prank at an inappropriate time or an inappropriate place (like Hawkeye did to Winchester in the O.R. room on M*A*S*H). Some things ARE sacred.
6. Don't do the same prank twice.
7. If someone on the radio goads you into pulling a prank on someone for a chance to win a prize, make sure the prize in question is worth the prank backfiring horrifically before pulling said prank.
Follow these simple rules and the fun and enjoyment can be had by all. Break these rules at your own risk, and prepare to take the consequences.
